Congratulations!

If you are a member or friend of the WMHS Class of 1965, you've come to the right place!! We are glad to see you and hope that you will visit often.

The 45th reunion has come and gone, with great success and lots of fun for all those who were able to make it. If you were not able to join us, we hope that you'll try to make it for the next "BIG" reunion.

In the meantime, we'll use this website to keep up with each other -- we'll meet when we can, we'll visit those far away through pictures & stories, and
we'll look forward to the next time we can all get together as a class.

Keep in touch- stay well - have fun!!

1st ANNUAL SOUTHERN WMHS LUNCHEON - Feb 7, 2011

Well, o.k., we kind of made up the name of this get-together after it was planned, but it IS a good idea, don't you think?  This lunch just kind of 'happened' -- as it were, Jackie Patsche Campen, and I discovered that we would both be in south FL at the same time and decided to get together.  From there, we got the bright idea of seeing if anyone else from the class would be able to come as well.  At one point we had over a dozen that had planned/hoped to come, but for one reason or another, most had to cancel.

Still, the 6 of us who got together at Joseph's Wine Bar & Cafe in Delray Beach had a lively time - we stayed for hours!  In attendance were Jackie Patsche Campen and her husband Selden, and Nancy Bradley Tolk and her husband Verlin.  From the class of 1967 we had Mike Condio -- (thanks to Nancy Brady Hill, who remembered that he lived close by and contacted him about the lunch).  For any of you who went to Park Terrace Jr High, you will remember Mr. Condio, our principal.  Mike brought his dad - Principal Condio - who just last year moved to Florida from PA.  Principal Condio is as lively and fiesty as ever.  Fortunately we all behaved ourselves and he did not need to bring out the Paddle!!

Next year we hope to do this again -- but we'll plan it on a weekend, and give more notice so that more people will have an opportunity to come.  Actually, I think it is a good reason for all us 'cold weather' classmates to plan a trip to FL, don't you?!

As promised -- some pictures of our day --

WMHS & Oldies Cruise

Happy New Year! Better late than never, I guess - how did it get to be mid-February already??!
I am FINALLY getting on here to update you on some things going on - of course, I know of these because I was THERE! Remember that I would love to post some of your activities and experiences -- or even some pics or stories about everyday life in the 'Burgh or wherever you may find yourselves these days. Send them to me by email or letter.

Anyway - Verlin & I were fortunate to go on a cruise this January! Fellow classmate, Roberta Jefferson Sullivan sent me info on an Oldies Cruise that they had gone on the year before and had so much fun that they were going again this year. Even though her info about the cruise sat in my email inbox for weeks, I did finally look at it. When I did, I found that it looked fun and affordable, so I forwarded the info to Verlin's computer down the hall! Come on - confess! - how many of you email each other from one end of the house to the other?!!

Now that we have gone on the cruise, we too can tell you that it was SO MUCH FUN! We don't know yet when it will be next year, or where they will be cruising to, but if you would like to get information on it, let me know. Wouldn't it be AWESOME to have a group from our class go on the same cruise??!! OF COURSE, we came back with tons of pictures! Happily, I won't share all 500 of them with you!! But here are a few, mostly featuring Bobbi & me - we'd love to have YOU in the pictures next year - think about it!

The cruise this year was on Carnival, from Jan 16-Jan 23. It left & returned to Miami, FL. We stopped a day each in Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize, and Roatan.
